The Legacy of Linda

American singer Linda Ronstadt is an award-winning superstar of both pop and country music. She has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide. By the end of the 1960s, Ronstadt had become a solo act. She put out several albums with a series of backing bands, one of them the nucleus of the group that would become the Eagles. Following a stronger reception for her 1973 album Don’t Cry Now, Ronstadt finally hit it big with Heart Like a Wheel (1974).

In addition to the hits “You’re No Good” and “When Will I Be Loved,” the album featured a cover of Hank Williams’s “I Can’t Help It (If I’m Still in Love with You),” which earned the singer the first of her 12 Grammy Awards.

Classic Ronstadt [The Legacy of Linda] is fronted by D.L. Car who is a multi-talented vocalist who also portrays another iconic female singer Ann Wilson in the popular Vancouver Heart Tribute act Barracuda. Joining D.L. are a band consisting of some of the elite musicians on the Pacific West Coast.

Classic Ronstadt [The Legacy of Linda] are honoured to be performing the amazing music catalogue of songs which have made Linda Ronstadt one of the first female superstar in both pop and country. Linda also help develop, influence and eventually collaborate with Don Henley, Glen Frey, Bernie Leadon, Randy Meisner who went on to form the Eagles.
