James began his professional career playing in cover bands and touring with Top 40 acts, performing music from artists like AC/DC and Led Zeppelin. His transition into original music came after connecting with emerging musicians in the Pacific Northwest, including future collaborators in the internationally acclaimed Dan Reed Network, where he became a key member during their rise. With roots in classical training and a career spanning global stages and studio sessions, he moves seamlessly between artist and architect—equally at home performing live or creating behind the scenes. His work connects to major artists including Babyface, Brian McKnight, and Justin Timberlake, while his live experience includes sharing stages with icons like The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Edgar Winter, and David Bowie. Alfie Galpin: Guitar, Keyboard, Vocals & Top International Touring Musician performing with Headpins. Alfie is a top veteran concert musician, recording artist that continues to perform festivals and concerts with Canadian Rock group the Headpins; With the Headpins, the 2025 schedule of the band included touring with BTO, April Wine, plus in 2024 the band toured with Foreigner for their Canadian national farewell tour on May-June 2024.. Headpins have shared stages with & toured with many legendary Rock bands, Nazareth, Honeymoon Suite, Kim Mitchell, Tom Cochrane, Streetheart, Harlequin, Helix and Toronto. In addition to touring with the Headpins, Alfie has also performed in the bands Toronto and Prism.

Randy took to performing Rock and Country Rock music with his best friends at the age of 12 and toured with The Monashee Stingers, Fly By Night, Saddle Mountain Band, the Kettle River Band, The John Noran Band and The Lickers. He is an accomplished recording artist performing on many studio sessions & live album recordings. Randy’s bass grooves, vocals and his “good times” energy during live performances always adds an extra level of fun times!
John Karroll: Drums, Recording Artist, Engineer, Producer, Concert Promoter
John is a veteran musician of the Canadian & International music scene, recording artist, certified audio engineer, producer, concert promoter & international touring artist. As a recording artist in 70s & 80s with The Karroll Brothers, (Vancouver & Canadian music scene) John shared the stage with acts such as Loverboy, Cheap Trick, Bryan Adams/Nick Guilder with Sweeny Todd, Trooper, April Wine, Tom Cochrane, Greg Kihn, Harlequin, Streetheart, Chilliwack, Doucette, Triumph, British Band “Slade” & Woodstock legends “Canned Heat”. John has been Involved in numerous recording sessions collaborating on over 250 original songs, John worked with producers and engineers, who included, Bob Rock (Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Metallica, Tal Bachman,) Peter Karroll (Bif Naked/ Karroll Bros) Mike Fraser (ACDC, Aerosmith, Motley Crew, Cinderella) Martin Shaer (Brian Adams, Sweeney Todd) Tom Lavin, (Powder Blues). Today, John continues to perform with the Bay Island All Stars while also recording with The Karroll Brothers, maintaining his legacy as a dynamic performer and influential contributor to the music industry.
